1. Quench Oil 510 – Low viscosity, fast speed quench oil. Formulated with highly refined group II paraffin base oils to resist thermal degradation, limit sludge generation and provide consistent viscosity for extended bath life. Product furnishes rapid and uniform cooling for high hardness in both the surface and core of treated steel. Heat extraction is uniformed to provide high tensile strength in carbonized parts, and greater toughness in carbon steels. Heat extraction rate slows during the final cooling stage to avoid cracking and distortion.
2. Quench Oil 521 – Low viscosity, medium speed quench oil. Formulated with highly refined group II paraffin base oils to resist thermal degradation, limit sludge generation and provide consistent viscosity for extended bath life. During the initial vapor and boiling stage the product provides uniform cooling of both surface and core of the treated parts. During the convection stage cooling is slowed to minimize distortion and cracking.
3. IDM Quench Oil – Medium viscosity, mar quench oil. Formulated highly refined paraffin base oils to resist thermal degradation, limit sludge generation and provide consistent viscosity over extended time periods. Throughout part quench, product provides uniformed cooling of parts both on surface and core of the treated parts. Once the quenching operation is completed finished goods are devoid of any distortion or cracking.
